Las Vegas, NV – Visiomed, a French leader in medical grade connected devices and services that advocate patient engagement as a primary component to maintaining good health, is proud to launch VisioCheck BW-XO7HD – the first scalable and connected mobile and evolving telemedicine station that weighs less than .7 pounds at the upcoming internationally renowned electronics and technology show, CES (Consumer Electronics Association), scheduled to open January 5, 2017 in Las Vegas.

VisioCheck® BW-X07HD is packed with the latest innovations from Visiomed, combining all of its technological expertise. It was designed to facilitate the daily medical practices of healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, pharmacists and paramedics who typically take the vitals of patients. Developed on the Android platform, VisioCheck Mobile Telemedicine Station, class II medical device, pending CE mark and FDA approval, is an all-in-one portable solution to enhance the usability of telemedicine and connected health.

The device is a connected mobile station that facilitates all aspects of telemedicine for patients, hospital and general healthcare professionals. VisioCheck provides a solution to support all aspects of telemedicine in terms of tele-expertise between healthcare professionals, tele-consultation between patients and healthcare professionals and tele-monitoring between patients and medical platforms.

VisioCheck resembles a smart phone with the same features and size. It includes a 10x6cm color LCD touchscreen, a high-definition camera and a high-intensity flash for recording or photographing injuries and other wounds. Patients can share these snapshots instantly and safely. They can also make phone calls, hold video conferences over Wi-Fi networks, and share data through the Secure Cloud with healthcare professionals or healthcare providers.

VisioCheck incorporates several medical devices such as a blood pressure monitor, a Thermometer using the Thermoflash technology, a pulse oximeter, an ECG monitor and a blood sugar monitor. VisioCheck is also compatible with all others Bluetooth enabled medical devices, especially the BewellConnect devices, to support the growing need of on-site medical professional’s needs. Easy to use, all data recorded is uploaded to the patient’s chart automatically.
